Fabio Shigehara, Director - Head of Finance, North America

Fabio Shigehara joined in Guerbet US in 2022 as Head of Finance, North America. He previously served as Guerbet’s CFO for Brazil from 2017 and then CFO for Latin America since 2020 where he built an impressive team and helped improve financial processes and results across the region.  In his current role, Fabio supports Guerbet North America’s commercial and financial performance in areas that include assessing risks, ERP implementation, controlling, treasury, internal controls, forecasting financial results, and managing performance to budget. 

Fabio has more than 24 years of finance experience, having worked for companies including Deloitte, Gafisa (real estate and investment company) and Zoetis (formerly Pfizer Animal Health).  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting and an MBA in Business Administration.
